We’ll schedule a convenient time to pick up your original tapes and discs.

I transfer & check
I digitize your recordings into MP4 files and check the completed transfers.

Get your originals & files
Your original media is returned, with your MP4 files delivered by temporary download link or on a compatible USB drive.
Most orders are completed within approximately two weeks of pickup. Timing depends on the size of your collection and current workload. I’ll confirm the expected turnaround with your quote and let you know when your recordings are ready.

Transfer pricing
Pay by the recorded length of each tape. Save when you transfer five or more tapes.
Videotape transfers

$25 per tape
Includes up to 2 recorded hours.
Each additional 2 hours, or portion thereof, adds $10.
More tapes, more savings.

All videotape formats count together, regardless of recorded length. DVDs don’t count toward tape discounts.

Not sure how long your tapes are? That's okay. You don't need to know to request a quote.
Unusual, damaged, or problematic media may require an individual quote.
What’s included
Digital MP4 files by temporary download link or on a compatible USB drive, basic file verification, and your original media returned.
USB storage & recording quality
Provide a compatible USB drive at no additional storage charge, or purchase one I supply at a price disclosed in advance.
Standard transfers do not include restoration or enhancement. Picture quality depends on the original recording.

Personally handled
I’ve digitized hundreds of hours of my family’s old home videos.
Going through those recordings brought back moments I hadn’t thought about in years and reminded me how much can be preserved on a single tape.
